PAYBACK AT CASINOS!

THE PAYBACK ON CASINO SLOT MACHINES

The payback on casino slot machines can be as high as 99% or as low as 80%, and the payback can vary greatly from casino to casino.  There is also a great misconception regarding paybacks!  The payback percentage on any particular slot machine does not increase based on the bet size!  The payback percentage is based on the denomination of the machine being played not the bet amount.  The reason for this confusion is because the payback amount does vary with the bet size, but the payback percentage remains constant!

Penny slot machines are by far the most popular, but they also have the lowest payback! Casinos love them, and people flock to them, because they think they're just spending pennies. This of course is not totally true!

All penny slot machines have various lines you can play and various amounts you can play per line and minimum play amounts!

So on “penny” machines, if you play the maximum amount, it can be $5.00 or more per spin!

It's important to remember that the payback on a penny machine is the lowest, and that the payback on higher denomination machines is almost always higher! This means quarter slots usually have a higher payback than penny slots, and dollar slots a higher payback than quarters. This  isn't always the case but in general it does hold true.

This upward climb normally tops out at the $5.00 to $10.00 denomination machines!

The greatest jumps are between the penny and dollar and five dollar machines!
After that, payback doesn’t go up much, if at all. This means that a $100 machine may not have a much better payback than a $5 machine, while that $5 machine has double the payback of a penny machine of the same type.

Here's a rough guide of the casino advantage by slot machines denomination or machine minimum bet size! 1 cent- 11.9%, 5 cent-9%, 25 cent – 8.6%, $1 – 6.7%, $5 – 5.3%, $25 4.9%
